Robert Ray Adams, 84, of Arkoma, passed from this life January 23, 2021 in Arkoma. Robert was born April 6, 1936 in Blain Bottom, Oklahoma to James and Ola Harris Adams. He retired from Gerber after 27 years of service. Robert loved to hunt and fish and was an avid outdoorsman, and was of the Baptist faith.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Mary Adams, of the home; his four children, Roger Adams and his wife Marcia of Arkoma, Robert Adams of Van Buren, Angie King and her companion Dave Bradfield of Arkoma and Connie Zeiler and her husband Steve of Spiro, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter Deborah Lasiter; a son Randy Adams; two grandsons Jody Lasiter and Bryan Carlile; a granddaughter Chasity Martinez, and a great granddaughter Alyssa Adams.
Funeral services will be 10:00am Friday, January 29, 2021 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Viewing will be Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 10:00am to 5:00pm at Edwards Funeral Home. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
