Robert "Bob" W. Beyerle

Robert “Bob” William Beyerle, 86, of Van Buren, died December 8, 2017 in Fort Smith. He was born June 7, 1931 in South Bend, Indiana to Robert Clark and Della Grace Cleghorn Beyerle. He was a retired employee of the Whirlpool Corp and a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where he served as a deacon and elder. Bob was a baseball coach for the Fort Smith Church League and volunteered with the Back Pack Program. He also was a volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and was a member of golf and bowling leagues. Bob loved to travel and was a photographer.

He is survived by the love of his life, Shirley Beyerle, his wife of 66 years; three sons, Michael and wife Sharanna Beyerle of Van Buren, Greg and wife Connie Beyerle of Van Buren, and David and wife Deborah Beyerle of Barling; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the First Presbyterian Church with inurnment in the First Presbyterian Columbarium. Services and cremation are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

The family will greet friends following the memorial service.
