Robert “Buddy” Cockburn, 77, of Roland, OK, passed away on January 21, 2020. He was born May 26, 1943 in Ontario, California to Norvel and Bernice Cockburn. Buddy was a retired Major from the United States Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Sandra Wallace.
He is survived by his loving wife, Paula Cockburn; two sons, Michael Cockbur of Fort Smith and Chris Cockburn and Finance Tori Parker of Barling; two grandchildren Landon and Cameron Cockburn both of Barling; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Memorial service will be 11 AM, Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Fort Smith National Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Edwards Funeral Home.
