Robert Lee Connor

Robert proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 20 years, embodying the values of honor and commitment. Following his military service, he devoted 42 years to a career in telecommunications, retiring in 2016.

He found great joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially his love for golf and classic cars, passions that brought him happiness and connection with others.

Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, Theresa Connor, and his son, Bryan Connor.

He is survived by his children: Jeanette Medina (husband T.J.), Nanette Upchurch (husband Freddie, deceased), Anthony Connor, Malizza Gaines (husband Ric), and Cristofor Connor. He also leaves behind cherished grandchildren: Herschel Medina-Sparks, Maelin Medina-Sparks, Ronen Medina-Sparks, James McRee, Jasmine Upchurch, Anastasia Upchurch, Aurora Upchurch, Ryker Upchurch, Connor Lagenfeld, Ella Connor, Amelia Connor, Richard Gaines Jr., and Gavin Connor and many great grand children.

Robert left this world as a proud Airman, devoted husband, loving father, and grandfather. His legacy of strength, dedication, and love will live on in all who knew him.

He will be deeply missed and forever held in our hearts.
