Robert Eugene Gisler

Robert Eugene Gisler, 79, of Fort Smith, died October 5, 2012 in Fort Smith. He was born August 21, 1933 in Fort Smith to William Martin and Rita Marie Cooper Gisler. He was a Freelance Writer and member of the St. Boniface Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Louise Gisler of Fort Smith; two daughters, Heidi Lasiter Chapman of Fayetteville, AR and Margaret Stewart of Barling, AR; two sons, William R. Gisler of West Fork, AR and Fritz Gisler of Fayetteville, AR; four sisters, Sister Mary Ann Gisler of Van Couver, Canada, Nancy Louise Lensing of Fort Smith, Rita Rose Mackintosh of Conway, AR and Virginia Ruth Corey of Fort Smith; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Memorial Mass will be said on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at 10:00 AM in the St. Boniface Catholic Church. Cremation and services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
