

Rodney was born in Fort Smith to parents Bobby Neal and Patsy Carrol Fox on October 7, 1950.
Rodney and his wife, Nancee, were married June 26, 1970. They lived most of their married life in Fort Smith and the surrounding area. They had only recently moved to Florida to the retirement community, The Villages.
Rodney and Nancee have two children, daughter, Rebecca Garrett, husband Chandler, and son, Matthew Fox. They have five wonderful grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Rodney worked for ArcBest Freight System 49 years. He loved to hunt quail or deer and trout fish with bamboo fly rods he had hand crafted.
Rodney leaves behind family and many friends who knew him as a generous man with a great sense of humor and a love of life and laughter.
He loved his family, his church, Hope Fellowship, and his Lord. He will be greatly missed.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 14 at 10:30am at Hope Fellowship, 2203 Hendricks Blvd, Fort Smith, AR 72903. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Village2Village, a non-profit missions ministry based in Fort Smith.
