Ronald L. "Ron" Haley

Ronald L. Haley, 63, of Fort Smith, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015, in Fort Smith. He was born May 25, 1951 in Fort Mead, Maryland. He was a retired crane operator in the oil field. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the VFW. He was preceded in death by his mother Pauline Sharum and a sister, Alice Haley.

Funeral service will be 12:00 Noon Friday, May 1, 2015, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith with Military Honors under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

He is survived by one daughter, Ronda Haley of Pensacola, FL; one son, David Paaaina of Pensacola, FL; stepfather, Jim Sharum of Fort Smith; one brother, Jeff McNeill of Pace, FL; and one granddaughter, Kai Paaaina.

Pallbearers will be Jeff McNeill, Jeremy McNeill, Chris Floyd, Bruce Shaw, David Paaaina and Tim Brown.
