

Ronnie Raible, 61, of Fort Smith, died October 20, 2012 in Fort Smith. He was born September 29, 1951 to Wilfred and Delores Woerner Raible. He was a salesman for Evans Enterprises, was the former Sebastian County Tax Assessor, a member at Ben Geren golf course, and a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. Ronnie was a member of the St. Anne’s Academy class of 1969 and played baseball for the Westark Lions from 1969-1971.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Claudette; daughter Alycia Hart, and husband Chris, of Fort Smith; son Kyle Raible, and fiancée Amanda Neal, of Bryant, AR; mother Delores Raible of Fort Smith; sister Terry Gray and husband Dan of Williamsburg, VA; three brothers: Paul Raible, and wife Judy, of Virginia Beach, VA, Steve Raible, and wife Lois, of Virginia Beach, VA, and Chris Raible and wife Lori, of Fort Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Wilfred Raible.
Ronnie was a loving and proud husband and father. He was an avid golfer and loved fishing. He was a big fan of all Razorback sports, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Green Bay Packers. He enjoyed his times as a volunteer football and baseball coach, especially for his son’s teams. His “grand-dog” Cap was one of his best pals.
Pallbearers will be Dr. Stan Reyenga, Dan Cruce, Larry Wilhelm, Rudy Worner, Tim Brewer, Glenn Bannister, Dale Duerr and Steve Haaser. Honary pallbearers will be co-workers from Evans Enterprises.
Rosary will be said at 6:00 PM Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with visitation to follow. Mass will be said at 10:00 AM Wednesday, October24, 2012 at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
