Ruth P. Haag

Ruth P. Haag, 86, of Fort Smith, died February 20, 2016 in Fort Smith. She was born June 6, 1929 in Washington Parish, Franklinton, LA to Willey and Artelia Mizell Pugh. She was a retired registered nurse for St. Edward Mercy Medical Center and a member of Cliff Terrace Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by two sons, Franklin L. Mauer of Paris, AR and Robert J. Haag, II of Poteau, OK., ten grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert J. Haag, eight siblings, and one great grandchild.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Fentress Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow in the U.S. National Cemetery of Fort Smith all under the direction of Fentress Mortuary.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

The family will greet friends at Fentress Mortuary on Tuesday evening from 5-7 PM.
