Ruth Ina Hawley

Ruth Ina Hawley, 72, of Fort Smith, died January 26, 2012 in Fort Smith. She was born September 3, 1939 in Pekin, IL to Floyd Alfred and Orma Williams Kuhn. She was a retired employee of Sear & Roebuck and member of East Side Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Pam Bjerk and husband Nathan of Chillicothe, IL; four sons, David Meints and wife Elizabeth of Milwaukee, WI., Scott Meints of Chillicothe, IL., Curt Hawley and wife Chris of Phoenix, AZ., and Craig and wife Hokyung of Chandler, AZ; two sisters, Char Nelson of Belvidere, IL and Sylvia Spivey of Munster, IN; one brother, Floyd Kuhn of Rockford, IL; twelve grandchildren and two great children.

Funeral service will be Monday, January 30, 2012 at 11:30 AM in the East Side Baptist Church Chapel under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Burial later in the week will be in the Chillicothe City Cemetery under the direction of Weber Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe, IL.

The family will greet friends beginning at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of East Side Baptist Church until the beginning of the service at 11:30AM
