Ruth A. O'keefe

Ruth graduated from St. Anne’s Academy where she excelled in music. She took piano lessons from Sister Margaret Mary and Sister Celine and accompanied the Glee Club under the direction of Professor Deardyne. Ruth won numerous contests for piano. She worked for many years as a secretary for several insurance companies and legal firms in Ft. Smith.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Laurence and Pauline, and two brothers, Hal and Morris. She is survived by her sister, Patricia Gilbert, of Tampa, Florida, a nephew, Michael Dunn, of Fort Smith, and four nieces, Nancy Robertson, of Oklahoma City, Susan Gilbert, of Tampa, B.J. Vosburgh of Lutz, Florida, and Mary Anne Hilker of Gainesville, Florida.

We will remember Ruth for her generous and caring ways, and we will miss her so much.
