

Sally Boerner Johnston, 79, passed away Monday, October 20, 2014 in Fort Smith. She was born September 25, 1935 in Paris, AR to Henry J. Boerner and Frances Pauline (Kehres) Boerner. Sally was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, the Catholic Knights of America, and Marriage Encounter. She was also a volunteer at Mercy Medical Center, and was a member of Hands for Mercy Auxiliary and she was past President of Immaculate Conception and St. Edward Ladies Auxiliary. Sally was preceded in death by her daughter, Jacqueline Johnston Cravens; her parents, and her four brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Clyde Johnston Sr.; three daughters, Ann Howells and her husband, Bob, Janice Donaubauer and her husband, Allyn, and Cindy McNally and her husband, Tim; one son, Clyde Johnston Jr. and his wife, Mamie; her son-in-law, Sparks Cravens; and one sister, Mildred Schneider. Sally is also survived by her nine grandchildren, Adrienne Johnston Shaunfield and her husband, Rob, Emily Johnston, Rachel McNally Siddall and her husband, Brian, Matt and Will McNally, Caroline and Duncan Cravens, Blake Donaubauer and his wife, Teahnna, and Natalie Donaubauer; three great-grandchildren, River and Spring Shaunfield, and Jane Siddall; and her dear and loved Et Al Group. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 AM Friday, October 24, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday, October 23, 2014, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home.
