

Sandra Ann Schwerin, 77, of Fort Smith went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 24, 2021. She passed away peacefully in her home with her two children at her bedside. Sandra was retired from Farmland Industries and Buske Lines, at both she was in upper management. Sandra was born to William and Cora Lee Pennington in February 1943.
Sandra was the epitome of the perfect mother, lady, daughter, nana and friend. She possessed a genuine heart of gold and her generous nature blessed many lives. She loved the outdoors and once she met the love of her life, Bill Schwerin, they played golf together and spent many summers at the lake and vacationing in the islands. Her favorite past time was working in her yard, which she became known for. Her home received The Orchard award many summers for the most beautiful yard in the neighborhood. Sandra loved her children and her grandchildren and strived every day to show them love and be a positive person in their lives. She truly was a blessing to all who knew her, such a beautiful soul who will be greatly missed.
Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, William Charles Schwerin and her step son Mickey Schwerin. She is survived by two children, her son Billy Frank Schwerin and his wife Lisa and her daughter Sonya Hayes and her husband Brent; six grandchildren Billy Todd Schwerin, Bobby Blake Schwerin, Brooke Leeann Tate, Bailee Nicole Harris, Abby Faith Williams and Hannah Grace Williams; a sister Paula Treadway; nephew William Treadway, and three great grandchildren, Delilah Tate, Tinslee Tate and Cash Cooper Schwerin.
