

Sara was born on December 31, 1958, a daughter of Hazel Stewart and the late Harrell Stewart. She was a graduate of Westark Community College with a degree in Radiologic Technology and Central Arkansas Radiation Therapy Institute in Little Rock, AR. In 1988 she received her Medical Dosimetrist Certification from Calgary, Canada (MDCB) and became the first dosimetrist in the state of Arkansas. Sara worked as a dosimetrist for Holt Krock Clinic. Sara was also a talented artist that loved to paint. She had an unwavering faith in God, a generous heart, and was always giving to others.
Sara is survived by her sons Matthew R. Brown and his wife Andrea of Fort Smith, and Michael Brown of San Antonio TX. She is also survived by her mother Hazel Stewart of Ft. Smith, and three sisters; Kathy Stewart of Ft. Smith, Ann Shoopman of Kirbyville, MO and Martha Stewart of Yakima, WA as well as three grandchildren, Harley Brown and Colt Brown of Fort Smith, and Dylan Brown of San Antonio Texas.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Vicki Walls.
