Sherry graduated from Charleston High School, and received her degree in Secondary Education from Arkansas Tech University.
She worked as a telephone operator, for AT&T.
Sherry had a passion for her family, and her animals, especially her chickens. She enjoyed Choir, music, dancing, genealogy, and she was an avid supporter of the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Neta Arnold; and her husband, Grayson Mark Newlon.
She is survived by her two daughters, Heather Vaughn, and Haley Newlon; one grandson, Grayson Vaughn; and her dogs, Barron, Thor, and Hokey Pokey; and her cat, Shadow.
Memorial Graveside will be 10:00 AM Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston, AR.
