Stanley White

Stanley Kent White, 72, of Fort Smith, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026. He was born on July 23, 1953, in California to the late Billy Joe White and Frances Rainwater White. Stanley was a hairdresser for several years and later worked for the Western Arkansas Counseling and Guidance Center. He was a member of Goddard United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, Stanley is preceded in death by a brother, Bradley Joe White, Sr.; a nephew, Bradley Joe White, Jr., and a great nephew, Landen Cates, “Little Man.”

He is survived by a brother, Allen White of Noel, MO; an aunt, Dorothea Cahall (Jim) of Louisville, KY; two nieces, Valery Dees (Clinton) and Rachael Smith (Cory), a nephew, Lyle White, all of Noel, MO; one great niece, four great nephews, four great-great nieces, three great-great nephews and a lifelong best friend, Donna White (Rick) of Fort Smith.

There will be a Memorial service held on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 3:00 pm at Cavanaugh United Methodist Church, interment of ashes will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
