as Steve's cousin I want to thank every one for all the kind words and heart felt expression.. They are greatly appreciated.

I can't believe it took so long to hear the news of Steve's passing. We hung out almost every day for the past year. I'm dumb founded at the news. I'm so sorry for your loss Charlotte and Leland.

I shall miss Steve greatly.  We were friends since high school and we always had many good laughs.  He is at peace now and listening to his favorite organ music.

I will never forget Stephen. He was such a nice looking man, always kind,
neat, and polite.  You two have lost your son and will feel a void for a long time.  I know he appreciated you and loved you very much, as many of us
do.  His life really mattered and I share your grief. In the future you will be able to enjoy those precious memories.

It was with heart felt sincere regret for the family when I heard of the loss of Steve. I know what a shock you have suffered in this tragic situation. I wish to express my deepest sympathy and the hope that the kind thoughts of many friend will make your grief a little easier to bear. Our prayers are with you.

Steve was a friend and neighbor at Eagle Crest in Alma.  His smile and wave will be missed by many!  Rest In Peace, Steve.

Stephen was my neighbor and friend.  I would see him in Walmart and visit briefly and when I drove by his house he would wave and I waved back.  We will miss him here at Eagle Crest. I am so sorry.

I remember Steve from our days working together at Ward Ice Cream. My condolences to his family.

Steve was my friend at both Northside High School and First Baptist Church in the early to mid '70's. After I joined the Marine Corps I lost contact with Steve. He was a good friend and person who I believe loved the Lord in his own way. My condolences and prayers to all of his family. 2 Corinthians 5:8-"To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord..." Steve is with the Lord now.

Steve has been a dear friend of ours since the 90's. He will be deeply missed and we want to send our deepest condolences to all of his family!

Stephen was our neighbor at Eagle Crest in Alma.  He was so very kind to help with caring for needy animals who were dropped in our community.  He kept a beautiful yard and was seen often trimming, mowing, and keeping the
flowers in his yard looking just beautiful.  We will miss waving to Stephen and sharing conversations once
in a while with him.  Our prayers go out to all his family and friends.
