I came to Ft Smith from Ky back in the spring of 2000 for a week-end to meet Steve. He was a great guy and I have thought of him often since then but we never communicated after my visit. Tonight I decided to type his name in a search engine on the internet and found this obituary. My prayers and condolences to the family if they ever read this

Even though I haven't seen Steve since high school, I remember what a sweet and considerate person he was to everyone. My prayers are with his friends and family at this time. God Bless. .....

Dear Glidewell Family, how very sad we are to learn of Steve's passing. What wonderful times we shared together in our single and early married years, and how very beautiful are the children and grandchildren he leaves behind. We cherish the memories he leaves with us and pray that he is now in Heaven with God, the angels, Jessica, and all loved family members preceeding him. He left the world a better place, and we are thankful to have had Steve's friendship.

Dear Modena, I moved to Randy and Susan's home in July and I lost touch of so many of my friends. It's Divine Intervention I never go to the Obituaries Times Record but a former associate of mine died and it was in the Democrat-Gazette and I searched for the obituary. We are so sorry for your loss. When Randy and Steve grew up he was very respectful and nice to me. Reba (Shaffer) Woodard, Randy and Susan Morrison Woodward

Sincere sympathy to the Glidewell Family. Steve was a friend to all in school, was fun to be around. I am thankful he attended our class reunion in 2010, everyone was so happy to see him. We were also neighbors in Southview many years ago. He will be missed by many.
