Steven Hawkins, 59 of Van Buren, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024. He was born on September 26, 1964 in Modesto, CA to the late Virgil and Mary Hull Hawkins. Steven was a truck driver and a member of Evangel Temple Assembly of God Church in Fort Smith. He was a wonderful husband and an amazing father. Steven laughed hard and loved hard, he was dearly loved by his family and friends. In addition to his parents, Steven is preceded in death by a son, Will Hawkins, and a sister, Laurie Hawkins.
He is survived by his wife Melinda, of the home; a son, Levi Hawkins of Van Buren; mother-in-law, Barbara Sparkman of Van Buren, brother-in-law, David Sparkman (Susie) of Dayton, AR and a niece, Taylor Dunavin (Tyler) of Dayton.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm Monday, March 18, 2024 at Dora Cemetery in Van Buren. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be Pat, Jacob and Daniel Geels, Kyle Williams, Mason Malone, Eddie Wakefield, Craig Gibson and Dean Macleod.
