Teresa Marie Stoufer-Nicholas, 68, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 3, 2025. Born on August 31, 1956, Teresa, who went by Terri, lived a vibrant life filled with creativity, compassion, and an unyielding curiosity for the world.
Terri was a beloved mother to her son, Zachary Nicholas, and his wife, Tayler Nicholas. She is also survived by her brothers, Jim Stoufer and his partner Cindy Thurman, and Dick Stoufer and his husband Gregg Stoufer. Her warmth and kindness touched countless lives, leaving a legacy of love and inspiration.
Known for her boundless creativity, Terri filled her home with art and memories that told stories of a life well-lived. Her son, Zachary, reflects on her profound influence: “My tenacity, stubbornness, humor, and creativity are all because of you. You taught me to be curious about the world, to peek behind the curtain and rip it off its railing.
