Thomas Jay Hansen

Thomas "Tom" Hansen, 81, of Fort Smith, AR entered his heavenly home Tuesday, August 24, 2021. Born June 4, 1940 in Tulsa, OK to Theodore (Ted) and Phyllis Hansen, Tom was an aviation instructor at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK, corporate aviator for Arkansas Best Freight in Fort Smith, AR, and ultimately served the real estate market in Fort Smith.

He is survived by his wife Judy, daughters Amy Anschutz and Susan Upchurch (Ben) of Fayetteville, son Jay (Debbie) of Greenwood, sister Gay Ecton of Mission, Kansas (Reid and nephews Matt, Kirk, and Joel), and seven grandchildren, Abby and Max Anschutz, Kate, Bennett, and Maggie Upchurch, and Abbie and Hayden Hansen.

Any charitable donations may be made to Good Samaritan Clinic in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Tom has donated his organs to UAMS in Little Rock, therefore no service is planned at this time.
