Thomas Everett Howard Sr.

Thomas Everett Howard, Sr. 71, of Fort Smith, died March 7, 2013 in Fort Smith. He was born July 20, 1941 in Fort Smith to Everett Allen and Mary Margaret Palmer Howard. He was retired General Manager for Johnston’s North American, a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by one son, Thomas E. Howard, Jr. and wife Lana of Fort Smith; one daughter, Kathy Spahn and husband Tim of Fort Smith; one sister, Margie Henson of Muldrow, OK; two brothers, Eddie Ray Howard of Fort Smith and James Everett Howard of Uniontown, AR; three grandchildren, Brooklyn Kay Howard, Megan Lela Howard, and Kristen Roper; and two great grandchildren, Dylan Roper and Zoey Kay Howard. He was preceded in death by his wife Sandra Kay Howard.

Memorial Mass will be Monday, March 11, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the Christ the King Catholic Church with burial of cremains to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Chapman, Bill Corrotto, Fred Goebel, Allan Newell, Ron D. Wright, Jimmy Newman, Harold Yandell, and David LaFontaine.

The family will greet friends at Mr. Howard’s home on Sunday afternoon from 2-4 PM
