Thomas Davis Lamoreux, 71, Of Fort Smith, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022. He was born on March 22, 1950 in Tulsa, OK to the late Thomas and Anne Lamoreux. Tom was a retired accountant with Arkansas Best Corporation. After retirement, he and his wife Nancy owned and operated The Well Liquors. He was an avid golfer, loved to collect coins and politicals. He was a member of First Lutheran Church. Tom was a good man, husband, father and grandfather. In addition to his parents, Tom is preceded in death by a brother, Richard Lamoreux.
Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. Friday at the pavilion of the Fort Smith National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Nancy, of the home; a daughter, Kelly Acosta (Kermit) of Fort Smith; a son, Thomas Lamoreux (Kristen) of Fort Smith; two sisters, Carol Latta (Bob) of San Miguel, Mexico and Dr. Nancy Lamoreux (Robert) of Tulsa; a brother, Paul Lamoreux of Fort Smith; four grandchildren; Hannah Horn, Justin, Jayden and Katelyn Qualls and two great grandchildren, Owen and Millie Horn.
Family will greet friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
