

Tommie Evelyn Rinehart, 74, of Charleston, AR, formerly of Fort Smith died Saturday, March 22, 2014 in Charleston, AR. She was born May 8, 1939 in San Jon, New Mexico to the late Thomas and Esther Durham Adams. She retired from Shipley/Flowers Bakery and was a past Worthy Matron, Eastern Star Harmony Chapter #455. She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Joe Rinehart, a retiree of OG&E; a brother, Leroy Lankford; two sisters, Beatrice Pettitt, and Willie Josephine Beasley.
She is survived by three daughters, Brenda Maida of Westville, OK, Karen Cochran of Fort Smith, AR, Donna Gonzagowski of Van Buren, AR; one sister Marian Sharber of Sulphur, OK; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special friend Kevin Shade of Fort Smith, AR.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, AR. Burial will be at Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Joe Maida, Donald McKinney, Brandon Hillier, Phillip King, Adam Hillier, and Dallas Elmore.
