
Walter Wallace, beloved son of Annie Moore and William J. Wallace, passed away on June 1, 2024, at the age of 82. He was born on July 7, 1941, in Houston, Texas. Walter was a resident of Stockton, California, where he spent the later years of his life.
Walter had a simple yet satisfying palate, with beef being one of his favorite foods. He enjoyed indulging in a hearty meal that included this beloved protein. Alongside his culinary preferences, Walter had a special bond with his pet dog, Lola, who brought him endless joy and companionship throughout his lifetime.
A passionate fan of baseball, Walter would spend countless hours following his favorite sport. Whether cheering for his preferred team or engaging in discussions with fellow enthusiasts, Walter's love for the game was unwavering.
Walter was preceded in death by his parents, Annie Moore and William J. Wallace Sr. and his brother John D. Wallace and beloved nephew Frank E. Wallace. He leaves behind his cherished siblings, William J. Wallace Jr. and Curtis L. Wallace, along with nieces, Kathlene Wallace & Vanessa Wallace-Suhama nephews Jay Wallace and David Wallace, and extended family members who will always remember the impact he had on their lives.
Walter Wallace will be remembered for his kind-heartedness, love for animals, and dedication to his favorite sport. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 24, 2024 at the pavilion of the Fort Smith National Cemetery.
