

Wanda N. Blaylock, 87, of Fort Smith, passed away July 8, 2021. Wanda spent twenty-five wonderful years serving the Red Cross of Fort Smith before retirement. She was a proud member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Fort Smith where she enjoyed being a member of the Morning Glories group. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family as well as sitting in her garage watching her great- grandchildren play with neighborhood kids in her front yard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Blaylock, daughter, Vicki Deason, brother, George Edward Foster, and sister, Wilma J. Brisco.
She is survived by her daughter, Kim Davis of Fort Smith; and her sister, Shirley McCurry of Fort Smith; grandchildren, Clay Mitchell of Fort Smith, Jeremy Davis and wife Shannan of Fort Smith, Josh Davis and wife Brittany of Cave Springs; Great-grandchildren, Christian, Baylor, Max, Palmer, and Layton.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 11. 2021, from 1 – 3 PM at Edwards Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be 12:30 PM Monday at Wesley United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Fort Smith National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Jeremy, Josh, and Baylor Davis, Christian and Clay Mitchell, Chaz Wilson and Joe Vann.
In lieu of flowers, an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to Wesley United Methodist Church, 2200 Phoenix, Fort Smith, AR 72901.
