Wanda English, 78, of Jenny Lind, AR, passed away Monday, September 30, 2013. She was born August 20, 1935 in Poteau, OK to the late Tommy and Stella Stephens Beshers. She was retired from Oklahoma Homer Smith Furniture Factory. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Jenny Lind. She was preceded in death by a daughter Judy Dixon and son-in-law James Fruen, Sr. Graveside funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, October 3, 2013, at Dora Cemetery with Pastor Tashala Devrow officiating. Burial will be at Dora Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. She is survived by her husband of 60 years Odell, two daughters Rebecca Fruen of Poteau, OK and Pamela Hendryx of Fort Smith, AR, two sons Daniel English of Kibler, AR and Darrell English of Fort Smith, AR, three sisters Barbara Davis of Sheridan, AR, Brenda Newby of Poteau, OK and Betty Featherston of Wister, OK, two brothers Eugene Beshers of DeKalb, TX and Charles Beshers of Panama, OK, ten grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her grandsons Kendall English, Kevin Romine, Drew Chaffin, James Fruen, Jr., Stephen Fruen, Brandon Fruen and Matthew Hendryx. The family will visit with friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home
