William Larry Hopper, 79 of Plainview, AR, formerly of Fort Smith, died Saturday, August 25, 2012. He was born on July 25, 1933 in Havana, AR. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a retired electrical engineer for Schlumberger.
Private family services will be held at a later date, he will be cremated. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary in Fort Smith.
He is survived by his wife Betty, of the home; a daughter, Leisa Gramlich of Fort Smith; a son, Steven Hopper of Memphis, TN; two brothers, Bid Hopper of Plainview, AR and Monte Hopper of Avon, Connecticut and three grandchildren.
