Dear Gretchen and Jennifer,

I am saddened to hear that Uncle Winston passed away. I remember Uncle Winston as a loving father to you and as one of our fun uncles. When we were visiting, laughter and smiles were always a given with Uncle Winston. While your families will miss him greatly, may your wonderful memories with your dad comfort you.

Gretchen and Jennifer,
I love the picture you chose for your dad. That’s the way I remember him. He was such a wonderful influence on Gerald throughout his life. My husband always looked up to him and loved him dearly. Your dad reached out to me by phone several times checking on how I was doing after my loss. It was so meaningful to me. He was such a caring & thoughtful person. I know you will miss him so very much, but he & your mom are certainly together again. Their love for each other was so evident and everlasting. (And I am sure Uncle Gerald & Uncle June & Aunt Inez are by their side along with their mom & dad.)
Sending my love,
