Abbey Kristina Argiro passed away unexpectedly January 12, 2024. She was born July 5, 1977 to the late Rick and Sharon Jones. Following graduation from Hubbard High School in Ohio, she attended Youngstown State University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and would go on to work at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She met the love of her life, Patrick Argiro, in Poland, Ohio and they married on September 6, 2003.
Abbey became a stay-at-home mom with her loves: Nicholas, Halle, and Madison; her life became devoted to her husband and children. She loved attending her children's school and sporting events. Abbey was the photographer of the family and made sure everyone saw the pictures. She always considered herself an "unpaid" Uber driver because her children would volunteer her to drive them and their friends around.
Abbey enjoyed trips to Arizona to see her brother Doug, and family vacations to Walt Disney World; Fort Myers Beach, Florida; Nags Head and Emerald Isle, North Carolina; Savannah, Georgia; as well as Atlantic City, New Jersey.
In 2019, the family relocated to Fort Wayne, Indiana and the Leo community became her new love for her and her family. Pat and the family would like to thank the community for their support during this time of need and a heart-felt thank you to all the General Motors employees for everything.
Abbey leaves behind with love her devoted husband, Pat; beloved children, Nick, Halle, and Madison; brother, Doug (Georgie Epple) Jones; mother-in-law, Cyndi Argiro; sisters-in-law, Melissa (Dan) Florig, Jenn (Jarod) Markus; brother-in-law, Vince (Lee) Argiro; nephews and nieces, Daniel, Jack, Ella, Kamyron, Genn, Adi, and Paxtyn; aunts, Karen (Mark) lacino, Paula Koerth, Joan (Fritz Seefeldt) Jones; and much love to all her cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rick and Sharon Jones; uncle, Ray Koerth; father-in-law, Randy Argiro; and nephews, Leeland Argiro and Braden Markus.
