A.D. Saylor Jr., 90, passed on March 27, 2026. A.D. Jr. grew up in Pineville, Kentucky and was the son of the late A.D. and Sarah (Brock) Saylor. He retired from Perfection Bakery after 35 yrs of service as a mechanic and was a member of Teamsters Local 414. A.D. enjoyed working in his yard, flowers, and spending time his with family, especially his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. A.D. Jr. is survived by his wife, Lois Saylor; children, Patricia (Waverly) Marcum, Michael (Laura) Saylor, Mitchell (Shelle) Saylor, Mary Ann Green, Tania Cook, and Nicholas (Cheryl) Saylor; 23 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and his sister, Viola (Slusher) Brummett. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Jordan Saylor, Johnny Saylor, Lewis Saylor, Gladys Saylor, Manuel Saylor, Laurie Brock, Rosie Saylor, Eugene Saylor, Ed Saylor, Emma Brummett, and Phebe MaCartny. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46809, with visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Burial to follow the service at Highland Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Stillwater Hospice.
