Aileen Dotty McComb

AILEEN N. "DOTTY" McCOMB, 92, passed away Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Fort Wayne, Aileen was the secretary - treasurer and bookkeeper of Harold McComb & Son, Inc. for many years, retiring in 1981. She was survived by her six children: sons, Terry, Alan, Dean (Amy) and Tom (Teresa) McComb, all of Fort Wayne; daughters, Sheri McComb of Fort Wayne and Karen (Fran) Yorio of Huntertown, Ind.; many "adopted" children including Megan Beyler of Fort Wayne; a great number of dear friends; 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren. She reunited with her beloved husband, Harold McComb, who preceded her in death. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 16, 2015, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with calling one hour prior. The Rev. David Biberstien officiating. Calling also from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015, at the funeral home. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to the Riley Hospital for Children or a charity of donor's choice.
