Albert Ray Sandmeyer, 78, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at Parkview Hospital Randallia in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born June 17, 1944, in South Bend, Indiana, the son of the late Albert Sandmeyer and Vivian Ruth Mifflin.
Albert worked at Benchmark Human Services and ESARC. He is survived by longtime friends Joyce and Munyua Kweheria of Fort Wayne.
A funeral service to honor Albert's life will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, July 22, 2022, at First Wayne Street United Methodist Church, 300 East Wayne Street, Fort Wayne, with visitation beginning 2 hours prior to the service. Arrangements by D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, IN. He will be laid to rest at Concordia Cemetery Gardens.
