Alice Louise Forsberg

Alice Louise Forsberg, 70, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Envine Healthcare of Huntington. She was born June 23, 1951, in Marion, Indiana, the daughter of the late George Maddox and Juanita Noller. Alice was an accounting bookkeeper for various companies in Fort Wayne, including TMX, Essex Wire, and Tippman’s. Alice enjoyed cross stitching, crocheting, and making crafts with her grandchildren. She was an active member of Statewood Baptist Church and helped in the nursery and taught Sunday school for many years. Her care and compassion will be missed by her church family. She is survived by her son, Garland (Judith) Roby; and daughter, Shelly (Jeffrey) Foust, both of Huntington, IN; siblings, Roberta (James) Brown of Syracuse, IN, Albert (Carmella) Maddox of Waco, TX, George Maddox of Flora, IN, Dale (Donna) Maddox of Carlsbad, CA, Robert (Erin) Maddox of Fort Wayne, IN; sister-in-law, Linda Sue Maddox of Anaheim, CA; 13 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. A funeral service to honor Alice's life will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, June 10, 2022, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, with a visitation beginning at 11:00 am, until time of service. She will be laid to rest in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her honor may be directed to Statewood Baptist Church.
