Aline Walker, age 83, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Monday, January 30, at her daughter's residence in Indianapolis, Ind. She was born July 13, 1939 in Booneville, Ky. to the late George and Flora (née Caywood) Crawford; and moved to Fort Wayne in 1963 with her husband, Leonard C. Walker. Aline enjoyed watching her beloved television series, soap operas and game shows, The Young and the Restless, Baretta, Walker, Texas Ranger, The Price is Right, Cash Cab, and Let's Make A Deal among her favorites. She also loved listening to different genres of music, especially Tom Jones or Blues. Above all she loved her family deeply, and sacrificed much for her children, was quick to offer compliments and "I Love You's". Aline is survived by her children, Alan Simpson, Kenneth (DeShauna) Walker, Sandra (Antonio) Miller, and Armintha Walker; grandchildren, Shannon Walker, Kristien Malone, Toneé Miller, Antonio Miller, Delilah Beed, Adrian Brooks and Angel Brooks; and siblings, Robert Crawford, Jerry Crawford, Clarence (Liz) Crawford, Edward Crawford, Lola Page, and Billie Crawford. She was predeceased by her infant daughter, Lisa Simpson; grandchildren, Shanna, Shannon and Jayden; husbands, Leonard Carry Walker and Hughes G. Simpson; and siblings, Virginia Royal, Carlie (Jamie) Chandler, Jay (Hattie) Crawford, and Carl (Sadie) Crawford. Funeral service is 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 9, at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services - Highland Park, 2403 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne with calling one hour before; Minister James Edwards Sr. officiating. Interment to follow.
