

Allen Bruce Cusick, 80, of Fort Wayne, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, March 7, 2025. Allen was born on April 11, 1944 in Wellington, Ohio to the late Oswell and Grace (Wetter) Cusick. He worked as a machinist at Kunkel Valve for 28 years, retiring in 2006. After retiring, Allen enjoyed gardening, especially planting and growing tomatoes and peonies. He also loved spending time with his family and friends, collecting classic cars, going to car shows, and cooking, specifically his famous salsa and potato salad. Allen was devoted to his faith and was a member of Fellowship Missionary Church.
Allen is survived by his two daughters, Kim (Andy) Goodwin of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Becky (Steve Fanning) Wright of Fishers, Indiana; granddaughters, whom he loved and cherished, Madison and Bailey Goodwin, of Fort Wayne, Indiana; brother, Glenn Cusick of Lisbon, Ohio; sister, Shirley (Bob) Thirion, of Lisbon, Ohio; along with several nieces and nephews. Allen is also preceded in death by his sisters, Jane Elsner and Marilyn Beverly.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road Fort Wayne, Indiana, 46809, with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Phil Harris officiating. In his final years of life, Allen was graciously cared for by the amazing staff at Kingston Residence Assisted Living, hospice staff from Solace hospice, and his niece, Amy Goodwin, who visited weekly. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be given to Solace Hospice Care, 280 Commercial Street, Roanoke, Indiana 46783.
