Amelia Ann Paskins, 85, of Fort Wayne, passed away on September 22, 2023, at Saint Anne’s Home in Fort Wayne. She transferred there in July following surgery. Ann was born on August 23, 1938, in Oklahoma City, OK.
Ann’s father Frederick Roger Frankenfield and mother LaRue moved to Noblesville, IN, while Ann was in grade school. Ann graduated from Noblesville High School in 1956 and was active in band and the church choir while attending there.
She graduated from IU in 1960 and was in the first class to graduate from IU with a degree in physical therapy. Her first job was at Crossroads Rehabilitation Center in Indianapolis and she continued work as a therapist for over 40 years. In Fort Wayne she held various jobs including at St. Joe Hospital. Her favorite work was in home care.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years Ronald Paskins; her brother Fred Frankenfield; son Patrick Paskins; and her beloved dachshund Penni Ann.
Ann was preceded in death by her son, Paul Paskins.
A Celebration of Life ceremony for family will be held at a future date.
