Andrew Jon Catalan

Andrew Jon Catalan, 38, passed away late Sunday evening, April 11, 2021. Andrew was born March 3, 1983 in Fort Wayne, Indiana where he spent his whole life. He was a graduate of Elmhurst High School. Andrew obtained his CDL B and had worked at Interior Product Supply (IPS) for the last 7 years. Where he was loved and appreciated for all his hard work and humor. For Andrew IPS was more then an employer, they were his family who loved him. Andrew will be profoundly missed by those who knew and loved him for his protective nature, loving soul, and quick witted humor. He was very passionate about his children and his person, Megan. Andrew was a giving person that would do almost anything for anyone at any time. He was a loyal and caring man who brought life and light into the world wherever he went. Andrew is survived by his children, Eliana and Emilio Catalan; his person, Megan Ayres; parents, Nelson Sr. and Maria Catalan; brother, Nelson (Jennifer) Catalan; sisters, Angela Ruiz, Mirta Catalan, and Elena (Mark) Atwood; and a host of nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, April 19, 2021 at Headwaters Church, 2000 North Wells Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46808 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Headwaters Church. Burial to follow the service at Lindenwood Cemetery. The family wishes to thank everyone that has reached out in any way, cared for and loved Andrew, and has supported them during this difficult time.
