Andrew (Andy) D. Hosey Jr. 93, passed away July 11, 2026, in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born in Richmond, VA on November 1, 1932. He was the son of Andrew Hosey, Sr. of Hampton, VA and Llewella Ballentine Hosey of Leesville SC.
After graduating from the University of Cincinnati with a BS in chemistry and zoology, he spent most of his working years in the pharmaceutical and related industries. After retirement in 1995, he and his wife moved from the Chicago area to their home on Crooked Lake in Angola, IN where they lived for 15 years until moving into The Towne House Retirement Center in Ft. Wayne, IN.
Over the years, Andy was active in the J.C.'s, Elks, Habitat for Humanity, church councils and choirs. He enjoyed flying, winter and summer skiing, fishing, and cards.
He is survived by daughters Susan Howard (Ron) and Pamela Flora (Spencer); 5 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
Andrew was preceded in death by, his wife, Mary Lee Sell Hosey; son, Andrew Hosey III (Drew); and his sister, Ann Julian Hosey Keitel.
