ANGELA MAURINE THOMPSON SIMON, of Fort Wayne, died on Friday, April 20, 2012, 8:49 a.m., at Lutheran Hospital. Born Sept. 12, 1938, in Lafayette, she was a daughter of the late Alexander Mansell Thompson and Kathleen Elizabeth Stevens. She was a homemaker and member of Trinity Episcopal Church. Suviving are her husband, Danny Dean Simon of Fort Wayne; son, Scott Simon of Chelsea, Quebec Canada; daughter, Amy Elizabeth (Jim) Keene of Richmond; and two grandchildren, Alaina and Julia Keene. Memorial service is 11 a.m. Monday, April 30, 2012, at Trinity Episcopal Church, with visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial in Church Columbarium. Preferred memorials to The Fort Wayne Children's Zoo.
