

Ann, as she was known to her family and friends, was born on March 5, 1926, to her parents Severo and Josephina Cuellar in Kaufman, Texas. She was the third youngest of four children. She lived in Petroleum, Indiana and Ossian, Indiana, before moving to her permanent home in Fort Wayne circa 1955. There she worked at General Electric, now BAE Systems, for over 30 years of service before retiring.
She married her husband and love of her life, Felipe, in 1954 at St. Pete’s Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne. They raised their four children, Arthur, Larry, Edward, and Lisa in Fort Wayne area. Ann loved being a mother and a grandmother and homemaker. Her greatest joys were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and seeing her family flourish. She spent most of her time at home cooking, sewing, gardening, and spending time with visitors. She loved getting visits from neighbors and friends, and loved baby-sitting all her grandchildren throughout the years. She loved reading the Bible, watching her telenovelas, sitting outside, and talking about her love for Jesus.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Severo and Josephina Cuellar; her husband, Felipe Gonzalez; her siblings, Pete, Jessie, and Mary; and her son, Larry Gonzalez.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Arthur Gonzalez, Edward Gonzalez and his wife Patty, and Lisa Johnson and her husband, Doug; her grandchildren, Jessica Peters and her husband, Andy; grandchildren Abigail Little-Gonzalez and her wife, Jill; Alex Gonzalez; Jacob Johnson and his wife, Bailey; Jessica Herber and her husband, Jake; Amanda Htoo and her husband, Doh Htoo; and Macie Smith and her husband, Evan; and her great-grandchildren Ariella Gonzalez, Thea and Emery Herber, Isla Htoo, Nora and Barrett Smith.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 1500 West State Boulevard, Fort Wayne. Ann's final resting place will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
