Anita Joan Schneider, 89, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022, at Lutheran Life Villages of Pine Valley in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born November 27, 1932 in Fort Wayne, the daughter of the late Samuel and Hazel Boner.
Anita graduated from Central High School in 1951. She married Carl J. Schneider on October 11, 1952, and together raised 3 children. Anita was a homemaker and very involved with her children and grandchildren’s lives.
She is survived by her children, William (Georgi) Schneider of Fort Wayne, IN, Richard (Lena) Schneider of Huntington, IN, Deborah Schneider of Fort Wayne, IN; 5 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. Anita was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Carl J. Schneider in 1998; brothers, Robert Boner, Richard Weimer; and a sister, Lois Boner.
Anita will be laid to rest in a private family ceremony at Lindenwood Cemetery. Arrangements by D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home 1320 E. Dupont Road, Fort Wayne IN.
