Ann Marie Elder

Ann was a Dispatcher at Supervalu for over 25 years, retiring in 2007. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and would do anything for her family. Ann was an avid bowler throughout the 1970s and 80s. She traveled the country several times participating in bowling tournaments. She was also a huge NASCAR fan later in life, and especially loved Dale Earnhardt Jr. Her favorite cartoon character was Tweety Bird, and her home was filled with her Tweety Bird memorabilia.

Ann is survived by her two children: daughter, Terri Elder of Fort Wayne; and son, Kevin (Paige) Elder of Mooresville, NC. In addition to her children, Ann is survived by her sister, Judy Loew of Appleton, WI; seven grandchildren: Jordan, Jared, Aron, Taylor, Tristan, Kade and Nevaeh; and 6 great-grandchildren: Aubri, Ezra, Lincoln, Emery, Hendrix and Ryker. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Jeanette Loew, both of Fort Wayne.

A funeral service to honor Ann's life will be held at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, with visitation beginning at 4:00 pm, until time of service. In a private family ceremony, she will be laid to rest at Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
