Anna Faye (Ashe) Combs, 74, of Lakeland Florida, formerly of Fort Wayne, passed away on March 6, 2019, in New Port Richey, Florida. Born on April 29, 1944 in Vicco, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Cillar (Pennington) Ashe. She lived a majority of her life in Fort Wayne, and Woodburn, Indiana, and spent her working career at General Electric, Sheller Globe, and the Fort Wayne Foundry; and enjoyed bowling, and spending time with friends, and the cinema. She is survived by her ex-husband, whom she married on September 12, 1962, James Combs; her three children, Stacy (Neal) Turner, of Greenfield, James Randall (Kathleen) Combs, and Shannon Combs, both of Fort Wayne; her brother, Kenneth Ashe; and five grandchildren, Kelsey Turner, Alex Turner, Dalton Ray, Samantha Faurote, and Madison Combs. Funeral service will be 2pm, Saturday, March 16, at DO McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, with calling from 11am, until the time of service. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be given to the Allen County Humane Society.
