Jean Ellis, 86, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2017. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN on December 6, 1930, the daughter of the late Irven and Esther Harnish. Jean was a 1948 graduate of North Side Highschool. Surviving are her husband of 68 years, William Ellis; children, David (Sue) Ellis and Thomas (Susan) Ellis; 5 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Janice Standiford and Jeanette Haddix. Funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804 with calling 1-hour prior. Visitation will take place on Monday, October 2, 2017 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm, at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne, IN.
