Anna L. Reeves

Anna L. Reeves, 78, entered into heavenly rest on Thursday, June 25, 2020. She was born on May 25, 1942 in Sturgis, Kentucky. She was a daughter of the late Ex and Eva Trigg and was the youngest of 13 children. Anna graduated from Dunbar High School in Morganfield, KY in 1960. She accepted Christ into her life at an early age. Anna retired from Fort Wayne State Developmental Center after 37 years of service. She had a love of cooking her favorite greens & Chili, which was always a family request. Her green thumb for plants was amazing. She also really enjoyed playing spades and crocheting. Anna loved sports, especially I.U. Basketball. She leaves behind, to cherish her memories her children, Anthony, Alisha, and Anjonette; five grandchildren, Romond, Justin, Demondre, Kanidria, Arlisa; four great-grandchildren, Cherish, Brycen, Legend, and Azura; sister, Cora Robinson; brother, O’Neal Trigg; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. A funeral service will be held at 12pm on Friday, July 3, 2020 at Kingdom Door Christian Worship 1004 E. Pontiac Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46803 with visitation one hour prior. Memorial contributions can be made to the Parkview Heart Institute.
