Anna Herman Rowe

Anna Herman Rowe, 81, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born to the late Jeno and Jenone Halmagyi on July 26, 1937, in Budapest, Hungary. Anna was a hard worker and opened Zoli’s Restaurant in 1961. She enjoyed travelling, cooking, gardening, planting flowers, feeding birds and geese in her yard, and spending time with family. Anna is survived by her husband of 35 years, Wayne Rowe; children, Zoltan Herman Jr, Judy (David) Rettig, and Kathy (Ronnie) Herman Begley; grandchildren, Dayton, Jake, Garrett, Porter, Mister along with 8 others; 12 great-grandchildren with two on the way; 1 nephew; and 3 nieces. Anna was preceded in death by Zoltan Herman Sr. father of her children; son, Karcsi Herman; and grandson, Zachary. Funeral service will be on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 1:00 pm with visitation two hours prior at Klaehn, Fahl, and Melton Funeral Home (6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46819). Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
