She was born April 29, 1948, in Guanajuato, Mexico, and lived in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to being a loving wife, devoted mother, and homemaker. She found greater joy in caring for her family, creating a warm and welcoming home. Also putting the needs of those she loved before her own. Antonia’s unwavering love, kindness, and selflessness will be remembered by all who knew her.
She found joy in life’s simple blessings and the people she loved the most. She enjoyed crocheting beautiful handmade creations and cooking delicious meals. Her favorite colors, pink and blue, reflected her gentle and caring spirit. She had a special love for Yorkies, treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren.
Antonia is survived by her husband, Leonel; children, Maria, Veronica, Maribel, Celia, Carlos, Leonel; thirteen grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.
Antonia was predeceased by her daughter, Maribel; and grandsons Jose, and Leonel Jr.
Mass service is at 11:00 am on Friday, August 14, 2026 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 2120 S. Harrison Street, Fort Wayne, (46802), with visitation one hour prior. The family will also receive friends and family from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Lakeside Park, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, (46805).
