Arnold "Arnie" Coffey

May 16, 1962 – September 8, 2025
Obituary of Arnold "Arnie" Coffey
IN THE CARE OF

D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Lakeside Park

Arnold "Arnie" Coffey, 63, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025 at home with his wife by his side. He fought a long battle of illness with so much courage. Arnie was born May 16, 1962 in Chicago, Ill. to the late Arnold Coffey and Shirley Swanson.

Arnie was a huge fan of the Chicago Bears, Bulls, and Cubs, even through the many rotten years. He loved Harley Davidson motorcycles, camping, fishing, and hanging out with great friends both in Indiana and Illinois.

He spent the last 17 years with the love of his life, Emma, in Fort Wayne; she was with him through it all . . . the loss of his mother, dear friends, a grandfather he loved as his own, his youngest daughter, a brother, sister-in-law, and niece. She held his hand and watched him take his last breath; the two were inseparable.

His wife and children were his whole world, near and far. No matter how much time he got to spend with them each, he cherished every single memory ever made.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving and devoted wife Emma Coffey; son, William Coffey; daughter, Tabatha Lynn; granddaughter, Keira Guillan; grandson, Alex Muhlenbruch; brothers, James Coffey, Barry Rowe, Mikey (Sally) Dant, and Steve Sherwood; sister, Sharon Coffey; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sylent Rayne Coffey; brother, Larry; and niece, Jessica.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Memorial Contributions may be directed to the family, who need all the help they can get now.

Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared below for the Coffey family.
