Dear Arnold,
There are so many memories, it is hard to remember any certain one. You always tried to call your family and friends on birthdays, and other holidays. I will treasure the letters and cards from you and your Dad and the Church.
I wish we could have been there till the end, but I know you would understand.
Until we all meet again, Rest in Peace dear cousin and friend.
Love from Joyce & Kenneth and all our family on Harmon's Lick and Drakes Creek.

Bro Arnold Jr I will never forget you. Thank you for being there for me and my family when my dear momma was leaving this World to be with the Lord. I will never forget how you told me about the time, at my dad funeral, you wore a shoulder length wig and went up to my mom. You told her you loved her and she didn’t recognize who you was. When you took that wig off my momma, she yelled, Oh Bro Arnold” at you and smacked you hard on the arm. We had many laughs about that as well as many other many wonderful memories you had of my momma. I sure was hoping you would get better and have time to have that revival you said you was going to have. But the Lord knows what’s better; Your works on this Earth to be done and to come home to him instead. This hurts me so bad, ( I still can’t believe it’s true), in my flesh greatly, that you have been called home to be with the Lord but as you had said to me and my family as my dear momma was passing away, “ Don’t be sad ya; rejoice. Your mother is leaving to be with the Lord. No longer laying there in pain.” I will continue to pray for the Saylor family as I told I have been for sometime as God has told me to do. I know one day I will see you again, as well as my own parents and many other Saints. So this isn’t good bye from me, my dear brother in the Lord, but I will see you later when Our Heavenly Father calls me home to Heaven too.

Charlene joins me in fondly remembering our dear friend Arnold. Despite the years and miles, we kept in touch by phone.
He touched many people’s lives.
May his family be comforted by their good memories of their lives together.
